G-70 Session Manager

G-70 Session Manager

G-70 Session Manager is a PC-based Windows application designed to take the drudgery out of organizing the data on your Roland G-70 Arranger Workstation. It will probably work for the E50-60-80 series of arrangers too.

Session Manager allows you to:

  • Import and export the G-70 internal or external memory to folders (Sessions) on the PC.
  • Backup and restore the G-70 to/from the PC.
  • Import, clone (copy), remove or rename UPS, UPG, Song or Style files. All data relationships and databases are updated.
  • Create new, empty sessions ready to import files
  • Edit many of the properties of UPGs via a simulated G-70 front panel.
  • Import and Export Harmonic Bar, Vocal Harmonist or Effects sections between UPGs.
  • Add, remove and rearrange the UPGs inside UPS files.
  • Add, remove and rearrange the Custom Styles inside UPS files.
  • Use the built-in Database Manager to index UPGs, songs and styles.
  • Edit the OTS parameters of any style, either singly or globally.
  • Copy OTS from one style to another style or group of styles.
  • Use Tonebanks, special UPGs which supply settings or parameters to other UPGs
  • Repeat most operations automatically on a batch of files.
